Healing peptides like BPC-157 are the next Ozempic, without the science. A peptide is a short chain of amino acids that copies a hormone. Insulin is one. Ozempic is one. The wellness industry sells the sequel: if a peptide can switch off hunger, another can heal your tendon, grow your muscle, slow your aging. BPC-157, TB-500, ipamorelin, CJC-1295, the "Wolverine stack". The GLP-1 money, Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, sits on my GLP-1 card. This card is about everything else in the syringe.

Ozempic proved the needle. The craze sells the needle without the proof.

Why? Because the doctor says rest and the influencer says inject. Men of 35 to 60 with a torn shoulder, a slow knee, a slower metabolism, and Joe Rogan, Hailey Bieber and Gary Brecka on the phone in their hand. A 12-year-old athlete was brought to a sports doctor in 2026 for BPC-157. Nobody counts the users, and that is the point: they buy by phone or online, mix Chinese powder with sterile water in the kitchen, and inject themselves.

Medically it does not hold yet. The entire published human record on BPC-157 is 1 small study of 12 patients, with no human safety data. Rodents heal. Humans have barely been tested. In July 2026 an FDA panel shaped by RFK Jr. recommended 6 of 7 peptides for prescription compounding anyway, by 8 votes to 6, against the FDA's own scientists. A recommendation, not an approval.

Then the grey market: of 469 BPC-157 samples tested, 68% failed on quality. 2 women in Las Vegas ended in hospital after unknown peptides at an anti-aging clinic.

Sellers call it the next longevity breakthrough. The legal market outside GLP-1 and insulin is about $5 billion a year. The analysts cannot even agree what a peptide is: $22 billion to $141 billion for the same year.

My call: by 2030 healing peptides are legal by phone across the US, under tighter rules than the promoters expect, Europe and the UK still ban them, BPC-157 gets its first 1,000-person trial or the market learns nobody will fund one, and the first peptide death lawsuit reaches a US court.

If it did not come from a pharmacy with your name on it, do not inject it.
