BITCOIN 2030
Wall Street predicts $1.5 million Bitcoin. I predict a trojan horse for financial control.
Key figures
$1.5 million: ARK Invest's bull-case Bitcoin price for 2030, restated by Cathie Wood in October 2026.
$500,000: Standard Chartered's Bitcoin target, pushed back from 2028 to 2030.
1.1 million: Estimated Bitcoins attributed to Satoshi Nakamoto, the unidentified creator, mostly untouched.
2017: Larry Fink calls Bitcoin an index of money laundering, and today BlackRock runs the biggest Bitcoin fund.
What does Igor Beuker expect from the Bitcoin price by 2030? I do not predict prices. Wall Street does.
Cathie Wood of ARK Invest says $1.5 million by 2030. Standard Chartered says $500,000. In November 2025, JPMorgan said $170,000 within a year. On 9 October 2026, Bitcoin traded near $82,000. Sellers' forecasts are advertising.
My view: Bitcoin was sold as free money no government controls. I believe the opposite. Governments and the global elite want central control over your money.
1. The creator is a ghost. Nobody has identified Satoshi Nakamoto, who sits on an estimated 1.1 million coins. I believe Satoshi was a US intelligence operation. Bitcoin uses SHA-256, a code designed by the NSA. Coincidence?
2. The establishment switched sides. In 2017, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink called Bitcoin an index of money laundering. Today BlackRock runs the biggest Bitcoin fund, and Fink co-chairs the World Economic Forum.
3. Washington embraced it. The first US Bitcoin funds on the stock market in January 2024. A pardon for Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht and a US government Bitcoin reserve in 2025.
My 2030 prediction: decentralized money loses. Banks, funds and governments end up owning Bitcoin and controlling who can buy, hold or spend it. Cash fades and governments expand digital money, including Europe's planned digital euro. The ECB promises cash will stay. My fear: your money becomes easier to block with 1 click.
In March 2011, I bought $1,090 of Bitcoin. At $0.88 a coin, that was about 1,240 bitcoins. In July 2025, I sold them at $105,000 each: over $100 million, before tax.
