By 2030: the humanoid market expands 14-fold in 5 years, from demos into factories and warehouses. The first receipts already landed: Apptronik raised $350 million at a $5.5 billion valuation with Google taking 15%, Agility's Digit sits at $1.5 billion, and Boston Dynamics is training humanoids for factory work today.

By 2040: the crossover decade. A humanoid on a robots-as-a-service model runs about $3 per productive hour against roughly $26 for a human worker. Once the machine is cheaper per hour, demand outstrips supply for years, and fleets scale from thousands into the tens of millions across logistics, manufacturing, and elder care.

The tailwind is a labor crisis nobody can vote away: 85 million unfilled jobs by 2030 and $8.5 trillion in lost GDP, while populations age.
