Autonomous robots, self-driving cars, smart cities, and AR glasses all need a precise, constantly updated 3D map of the real world. That map does not yet exist at planetary scale. Building it is the biggest data opportunity of our era, and most people have no idea it exists. I forecast spatial computing becomes critical national infrastructure by 2030, classified alongside energy grids and water systems, and that the companies building it today are the Oracles and Microsofts of 2035. The proof is already here. Pokémon Go crowdsourced 30 billion urban images from 700 million players who thought they were catching Pikachu. That map now trains the US Coast Guard, powers Snap's next-generation AR glasses launching in 2026, and guides roughly 1,000 Coco Robotics delivery robots at centimeter accuracy. Niantic sold the game to own the future. That is the Math Man play in its purest form.
