Igor's call, in full
Back in 2021, on stage, I said something that made the room shift in their seats: "If McDonald's stays open while gyms close, that might be the real pandemic. We already have 1 billion people living in poverty and 2 billion overweight or obese. If we lock people up for another year and feed them fast food, I predict by 2025 we'll hit the sick number of 2.5 billion overweight or obese humans." It sounded extreme then. It landed exactly. By 2025, obesity surged past 2.5 billion globally, becoming one of the top killers on Earth, fueled by sedentary lockdowns and the relentless march of ultra-processed, addictive fast food. Fast food is not just a convenience. It became a business model built on addiction, shelf life, and scalability, not nutrition. The prediction was spot on, and the receipt is on video.
