Abu Dhabi builds a $1.7 billion Sphere by 2029. Toronto builds a $500 million esports arena. My forecast: by 2030 every serious venue adds an immersive layer, or the big shows go somewhere else. A stadium with a pitch and a scoreboard is now the cheap seat.
