Igor's call, in full

I was kicked out of professional football and expelled from university. I chose reinvention. That is what misfits do. Sport taught me that live competition is structured pressure. Consequence in real time. Scarcity.

The most expensive advertising inventory in the world is live sports. A 30-second Super Bowl spot now costs ~$8 million. I forecast the live sports economy will grow from ~$2.3 trillion in 2025 to ~$6.5 trillion by 2040, and toward ~$10 trillion by 2050. This is not nostalgia. It is infrastructure.

Why? Agentic AI and synthetic media will flood the internet. By 2030, more than 90% of social media content will be synthetic or artificially amplified. That tsunami makes authentic storytellers, live events, and live sports more valuable than ever. In a world drowning in deepfakes and AI slop, the one thing that cannot be faked is 22 people chasing a ball live.

The contracts tell the truth. NFL: roughly $110 billion over 11 years. IPL: ~$6.2 billion for 2023 to 2027. UFC to Paramount: $7.7 billion over 7 years, pay-per-view left behind. Live sports stabilize retention, and retention drives valuation multiples. Sovereign capital raises the floor: PIF with Newcastle United and LIV Golf, the FIFA World Cup 2034 in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi with Manchester City, Qatar with PSG. Casual observers see trophies. Strategic capital sees leverage.

Next comes the digital twin era. AI, synchronized camera arrays, stadium sensors, spatial computing, and real-time 3D rendering reconstruct entire matches as spatial data. Control shifts from the broadcaster to the platform and the user. Spielberg from your sofa. The money follows the last unfakeable thing on the internet.
