The AI market itself is only the visible tip. When I say AI market I mean the full layered cake: chips, compute, cloud, data centers, energy, data, models, and the software on top. I put that market at around $500 billion in 2025, scaling to $1.5 to 2 trillion by 2030.
The market size is not the point. The point is the value it unlocks across every other industry: around $15 trillion by 2030. Most people price the stack. They do not price what the stack does to healthcare, logistics, finance, media, and manufacturing all at once.
The showstopper: every layer of the cake must rise together, and any layer can choke it. Chips funnel through ASML, TSMC, and Nvidia under an export-control war, and Musk is building the Terafab to escape exactly that bottleneck.
Energy is the hardest layer: AI, EVs, and robotics pull on the same buckling grid, the $8 to 16 trillion fix is card 30. And the people push back: the AI backlash has landed, booed CEOs and voters blocking data centers, my full call is card 62. If the cake rises, $15 trillion by 2030. If 1 layer fails, the timeline slips, not the destination.
