Vertical, phone-first series with a cliffhanger every minute, born in 2020. In China they passed the cinema box office in 2025: microdramas $9.4 billion against $7.3 billion in cinema's best year since the pandemic. I called it on stage in Los Angeles while legacy media laughed.
