What is the most effective way to break a toxic cycle? Stop feeding it.

Compare your life to an exciting long-distance balloon flight. You need to adjust the altitude in varying weather conditions. How? Dropping the ballast makes you go up, right?

See the sandbags as your toxic friends and family. Without them? You can fly and explore.

Conflict is like a reality show—it cuts the audience and gets canceled. Yet most people keep playing the same broken record, stuck in loops that serve them as well as a chocolate teapot.

Here’s the power move: Disengage. When you pull your energy, negativity starves faster than a goldfish on a diet.

You owe loyalty to your future, not your past.

Blood makes you related, but the right choice makes you family. If a pattern drags you down, don’t fight it—let it go. Life won’t just go on; it’ll upgrade.

Because where attention goes, energy flows. And trust me, your energy is worth more than wasting it on reruns of a show that should have been canceled seasons ago.

Here’s how to break the cycle like a boss:

• No dramatic WhatsApp series – You’re not a soap opera writer.
• Silence is power – No reaction, no fuel. Let them wonder.
• Change patterns – Unfollow, unsubscribe. Your feed, your rules.
• Set boundaries – Put people who drain you – on airplane mode.
• Close Chapter One – New people, new habits, new playgrounds.

TRUE SELF LOVE | 12 RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

You wouldn’t let a scammer drain your bank account? So why let emotional freeloaders bankrupt your energy?

Not many people or friends can deal with my brutal honesty. My mantra? Trustworthy, loyal friends? They speak up and will give you constructive feedback where it belongs: In your face. Losers, do it behind your back.

Self-love isn’t just bubble baths and affirmations; it’s setting boundaries like a boss. If people cannot appreciate or handle my honesty? Bad luck, but I am no longer afraid to be abandoned.

 

These rules of engagement have been invaluable to me. I obtained them from my sensei, and they can also help you.

No more chasing, no more justifying. The people who value you will show up. The rest?
Let them miss out.

Managing expectations and setting new rules? Try these:

• Not told = Don’t ask
• Late invites = Decline
• Not invited = Don’t go
• Left out of plans = Move on
• Always initiating = Step back
• Feeling used = Set boundaries
• Taken for granted = Value yourself
• Ignored messages = Stop reaching out
• Constantly explaining = Stop justifying

WARREN BUFFETT | POWER OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

 

Warren Buffett, often referred to as the “Oracle of Omaha,” is a renowned investor and the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. His investment strategies and business acumen have made him one of the world’s wealthiest individuals.

As of March 22, 2025, Warren Buffett’s net worth is estimated at approximately $162.5 billion, positioning him as the sixth wealthiest individual globally.

Despite his success, Buffett once had a profound fear of public speaking. To overcome this, he enrolled in a Dale Carnegie public-speaking course.

He has stated that this course had a significant impact on his life, leading him to display the certificate of completion prominently in his office. In contrast, his academic degrees are not displayed. Start young; don’t wait until you’re 50.

Buffett emphasizes the immense value of communication skills, asserting that enhancing one’s ability to communicate can substantially increase personal and professional development.

He believes that investing in oneself, particularly by improving communication abilities, is one of the most important investments one can make.

FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING | MAKE IT YOUR FUEL

Public speaking. The heart races. Hands shake. Sweat pours. You hyperventilate. Congratulations, you’re human. It’s the #1 fear in the world, ranking even higher than death. That means most people would rather be in the coffin than give the eulogy.

People tell me, “Yeah, but you don’t have that.” Oh, really? ASS-U-ME. The mother of all screw-ups. I feel fear before every speech. Every. Single. One. Why?

Because I play on the most prominent international stages and screens. One mistake? That’s 10,000 people in an arena or 50,000 live-stream viewers watching me crash and burn.

I also speak for governments and world leaders—one wrong word, and I’m facing a 20-year vacation in a foreign prison. Or worse. Buried alive in the desert. Not paranoia. Just facts. People can be imprisoned for up to 4 years in the UK for a Facebook post.

But here’s the thing: Fear isn’t my enemy. Fear is my fuel.

I don’t fight it. I channel it. Sure, I do my breathing exercises. I flip my mindset from anxiety to enthusiasm. I strike a power pose—I call it the Conor McGregor Gorilla Stance.

Because courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s doing it scared.

The real antidote? Obsessive preparation.

Confidence doesn’t come from wishful thinking. It comes from knowing you have put in the work, but memorizing a script? Biggest rookie mistake ever. You’ll freeze. You’ll fail. Speak freely. Freestyle. Own it.

So, I don’t run from fear. I embrace it. It keeps me sharp. It keeps me humble. Want to build a massive fire? Gather a ton of wood. Fear is that wood. Stack it up and light up the venue.

Popping beta-blockers like propranolol or benzos?

Sure, some performers drop a pill. Not my thing. They won’t fix mental anxiety, and I need my energy, not a nap. I do my breathing exercises and find my confident posture (backstage!)

Before my talks, I find my dressing room—or a bathroom—and I jump and scream like a lunatic. (It’s awkward when someone walks in, but hey, showbiz.)

Because I don’t just step on stage, I hit it with 10,000 volts of energy.

INSPIRATION vs. MOTIVATION | KEY DIFFERENCES

What’s the difference between inspirational and motivational speaking? A motivational speaker pumps you up with energy, reminding you of things you already know but need to take action on.

An inspirational speaker expands your mind, introducing new trends, technologies, and ideas you haven’t encountered before.

Motivation drives you to take action, while inspiration alters your perspective on the future.

My speaking method? Imagination sparks inspiration, which fuels motivation and drives action.

In my B2B keynotes, I address CEOs, tech entrepreneurs, startups, and world leaders. In these talks, I focus on futurism, trends, and exponential tech, showing what’s coming next and what the impact will be.

For example, how traditional and linear Mad Men minds are demolishing their incumbent brands. And how the Math Men are embracing exponential technologies to grow exponentially.

But in my B2C talks, I switch gears. I blend personal and life experiences with motivational power talks that move people out of their gridlocks, self-pity, gridlocks, and laziness.

For example, how individuals can flourish by moving beyond their past. And how can they stay relevant in a world dominated by robots and AI that will be taking their jobs?

RIP POWERPOINT | SPIELBERG MODE ON

When I started speaking 25 years ago, speakers used no slides or Keynote/PowerPoint.

However, I have waited 25 years for advanced next-level venues like Sphere Las Vegas, hyper club UNVRS Ibiza, Gaming and eSports venues, and IMAX theaters.

I dreamed of creating immersive Steven Spielberg-like futuristic shows without Spielberg’s budget. Whoever said B2B was supposed to be boring2boring?

My speaking career started accidentally in 2000. A brand wanted to book me for a talk, and I had no clue what to charge. I had zero speaking ambitions.
