What is the difference between a futurist and a prophet?

The prophet never gets graded. The futurist puts a date and a number on the record and lets the world score it. Most Big Tech forecasts are prophecy: a fund, a stock, or a book behind the keynote. Futurism is predicting shifts 10 to 20 years before they become trends, then living with the scoreboard.
